Time for a new destination for the WISE Study Trip!
This time, we are heading to Jönköping and its surrounding area for an inspiring two-day study trip, from lunch to lunch. We will visit Jönköping University, as well as Husqvarna. The visit will offer opportunities to explore research environments, industry connections, and regional innovation, while also providing space for networking and exchange among WISE researchers.

⏳ Important: Please be on time for all bus departures. The bus will not wait for late participants. If you miss the bus, it is your own responsibility to arrange and pay for transportation to the next location.

Practical information
Travel & Transport
- Participants are responsible for booking their own travel to and from Jönköping.
- A chartered bus will provide transfers to and from the study visits, unless otherwise specified. Pick-up and drop-off will take place at the recommended hotel, unless otherwise stated in the detailed program.
- Please refer to the detailed program for the exact bus pick-up and drop-off times (when available).
Accommodation
- Recommended hotel: Elite Stora Hotellet, Jönköping
- Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation.
- You may stay at any hotel; however, Elite Stora Hotellet will be the pick-up and drop-off point for the chartered bus during the study trip.
Meals
- All meals are included in the study trip. However, you must respond to the dinner options that have been sent out before the deadline. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that you will receive meals, as we need to pre-order with the restaurants well in advance.
Additional Information
- According to the WISE alcohol policy, no alcohol will be served during dinners.
- To ensure active participation and facilitate networking, we kindly ask you to prepare at least one question for each visit.
FAQ
When is the deadline for registration?
The deadline for registration is 17 April 2026. If all 20 spots are filled, a waiting list will be available.
Can I cancel my registration?
Registration is binding, and we count on your participation once you have registered. If you are unable to attend due to illness, please notify us as soon as possible at info@wise-materials.org.
