ビジネスフィンランド/フィンランド大使館商務部は、2025年6月24日(火)の13:00から17:00 、Expo 2025 大阪・関西北欧館にて、「フィンランド・ヘルステックデイ」を開催します。又、セミナーに続き17:00-19:00に交流会を行います。
フィンランドは、世界で最もデジタル化が進んだ国のひとつとして知られていますが、ヘルスケア分野に於いてもデジタル技術の適用は著しい進歩を遂げており、電子化された医療データ等のインフラと相まってその技術能力と実績は世界でも高く評価されています。又、ウェルビーイング&サステナビリティ志向の技術・サービス・ビジネスモデルの構築とそれらの社会実装への日本からの注目は大きく、現地視察等も定期的に行われています。
特に少子高齢化という課題を共通に抱えているフィンランドから、本イベントではヘルスケア分野に於けるウェルビーイング&サステナビリティ志向の実現性、パーソナライズドヘルスとそれを支えるデジタル/リモート技術、PHR推進と予防医学などの角度から、フィンランドが構築しようとしているこれからの方向性とデジタル・ソリューションがもたらすイノベーションを紹介します。
当日はフィンランド、日本それぞれの産官学の分野から第一線に立つスピーカーの方々が、日本とフィンランドが協働することのシナジーや協力について議論します。

Business Finland is pleased to invite you to the “Finland leading the way towards Future Healthcare,” to be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Nordic Pavilion in Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. Networking event will follow the seminar from 17:00 to 19:00.
Finland is recognized as one of the most digitally advanced countries in the world. Its healthcare sector has made significant strides in applying digital technologies, supported by a robust infrastructure including digitized medical data—achievements that are highly regarded globally.
In Japan, there is growing interest in well-being- and sustainability-driven technologies, services, and business models, with regular site visits and studies being conducted to explore their societal implementation.
Finland, facing similar challenges such as a declining birthrate and aging population, will showcase innovative approaches to building a sustainable and people-centered healthcare system. Topics will include personalized health, digital and remote care technologies, the promotion of Personal Health Records (PHR), and preventive medicine.
Join us to explore Finland’s vision for the future of healthcare and the transformative role of digital solutions. The event will feature leading voices from Finnish and Japanese industry, government, and academia who will discuss opportunities for collaboration and shared innovation.

Previously Dr Sillanaukee has served as Ambassador for Health and Wellbeing at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Director-General and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Deputy Mayor and Director of Social and Health Services in the City of Tampere, and held clinical and managerial positions in the Pirkanmaa Hospital District.
Dr Sillanaukee is a specialist in public health and management and doctor honoris causa from the University of Helsinki. She has worked on policies to promote public health, social protection, gender equality, innovation and digitalization.

Petri Lehto is Senior Advisor in the Health Data 2030 project. His work focusses on the competitiveness of the health sector and the use of health data.
Before joining Sitra, Petri spent over 15 years in central government, mostly at the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and its predecessor, the Ministry of Trade and Industry. With his past duties being related to renewal, innovation policy and promoting Finland’s competitiveness, there was significant overlap between Sitra’s and Petri’s interests. Petri has also broadened his perspective on the growth of the health sector, working as the head of policy and communications for a large US-based pharmaceutical company.

Professor Iwami is a leading expert in the advancement and implementation of Personal Health Records (PHR) in Japan. He serves as the Representative Director of the PHR Council and as an Independent Director at Healthtech Laboratory, Inc. His work focuses on developing and implementing secure systems that allow individuals to effectively manage and utilize their personal health information throughout their lifetime.
Since 2015, Professor Iwami has been a faculty member in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. As an expert in emergency medicine, his research also encompasses cardiopulmonary resuscitation, out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, and emergency medical systems.
