This panel will address the real constraints behind scale-up: competitive pressure on EU airlines, high-risk investment needs for SAF production, limited feedstock, and the rise of lower-cost supply from outside Europe. The discussion will focus on what Europe must do to stay both ambitious and competitive as the market takes shape.

However, companies still face obstacles in taking the full advantage of SAF. In this discussion, business representatives from various parts of SAF value chain will share their perspective on what is still needed to truly harness the potential of SAF.
