A special day for children! The flagpoles outside City Hall are flying colourful art flags designed by Pori’s children and young people together with the Kruunupää Centre for Children’s Culture. In Raatihuoneenpuisto, a festive programme is being organised by various city services, and child visitors can enjoy free admission to the Satakunta Museum.
The programme is suitable for children of all ages, with activities especially well suited for those aged around 4–8. The activity stations are described in more detail further down on this page.
Visitors are welcome to explore the activity stations at their own pace throughout the event.
The Kids Summer Party is being held in celebration of Pori receiving the Child Friendly City recognition for the third time. The recognition will be officially presented later on Monday at the City Council meeting, beginning at 4 pm.

Hobby Horse Obstacle Course and Stable (Pori Youth Workshops)
Painting Picnic: Create imaginative summer treats with giant brushes on a large shared canvas! Paint ice cream mountains, giant strawberries, colourful cakes and other joyful party delicacies.
